For her super special event, the teen star wore a beautiful scarlet gown with a sweetheart neckline and voluminous skirt by Dubai-based designer Michael Cinco. It also featured intricate embroidery and beadwork. She accentuated her outfit with a delicate but eye-catching pair of diamond and ruby necklace and earrings.
It was indeed a very happy occasion for the teen star as the occasion was attended by some of the brightest in show business. The celebration also paved the way for Julia and mom Marjorie’s reunion with Claudine Barretto. Claudine has not been welcome due to her squabbles with older sisters Marjorie and Gretchen.
Julia’s Dad Dennis Padilla was also present at the event. He was her first dance as well. There were rumors of a rift between father and daughter arising from Julia’s plan to change her surname from Baldivia (Dennis’ real surname) to Barretto. But it was Julia who finally reached out to her father. She surprised him by handing him an invitation to her debut celebration. During an interview Julia also revealed that she doesn’t intend to change her surname anymore.
But of course, the event won’t be that festive without her fellow celebrities. Those who attended the event include Matteo Guidicelli, Rayver Cruz, Enchong Dee, Khalil Ramos, Robi Domingo, Sam Concepcion, Dominic Roque, Leon Barrett, Mark Barretto, John Barretto, Cholo BArretto, Jason Soong, Miguel Barretto, John Lapus, Enrique Gil and Inigo Pascual as her 18 roses.
Julia had 19 candles instead of just 18. Her reason for that was someone might not be able to make it. Her 19 candles were Dani Barretto, Cris Navarro, Marissa Kalaw, Pokwang, RB Chanco, Lala Flores, Denise Heredia, Coy Barretto, Ella Pangilinan, Liz Uy, Claudia Barretto, Patita Tumpalan, Erich Gonzales, Alora Sasam, Natalia Ortega, Nicole Barretto, Janella Salvador, Liza Soberano and Maja Salvador.
