In a previous post, we talked about Apple’s invitation to guests to reveal the newest iPhones of this year. Yesterday, people got excited and truly mesmerized by what they have to offer. The brand new iPhone of this year, the iPhone XS and the iPhone Max, is considered to be the most advanced iPhone there is. To cut the story shorter, the iPhone XS’s predecessor, the iPhone X, is somewhat similar in terms of the design and the display. The price, however, is also shocking.
First look at the iPhone XS and the XS Max
The designs are somewhat similar to their predecessor although the glass quality is better with the iPhone X. All new iPhones will come in three (3) colors: Gold, Silver, and Space Grey. The iPhone XS will have a 5.8″ Super Retina OLED display with 2.7 million pixels. The screen resolution is 2436 x 1125 and it’s 458 pixels per inch (ppi).

The iPhone XS, compared to the iPhone 8 Plus, has the same sizes of display, just a little bit smaller physically. This is because from the iPhone X, there are no more bezels included in the front part of the phone.
Now let’s talk about the iPhone XS Max. This iPhone has a 6.5″ Super Retina display with 3.3 million pixels. Screen resolution is 2688 x 1242 and is also 458 ppi. Comparing it to the iPhone 8 Plus, it’s the same size but an inch larger when it comes to the screen display.
Specifications
The iPhone XS has a larger capacity of up to 512 GB internal storage which makes a thousand photos possible. With the A12 processor, you can expect that all activities you will be doing are 15 percent faster than the previous processor which is the A11. It has better water resistant capabilities which is surprising. With the A12 processor, you can submerge the device up to two meters below for an outstanding 30 minutes.
Camera
The camera of the newest flagship phone comes in double, just like the iPhone X. It has a 12 megapixel (MP) wide-angle camera and a 12 MP telephoto camera. What is this, you may ask? Well, after taking a photo, you can adjust the depth of the photo, adjusting it to however you want it to look like. It also has a new true tone flash which will make colors more vibrant and natural.

Battery
When we talk of the battery, we know that the best Apple has was the iPhone X. With the iPhone XS, the battery can last for up to 30 minutes more and the iPhone XS Max can last up to an hour and a half MORE than the iPhone X. Moreso, this will also depend on what type of activities and usage you will be doing. But in statistics, it should last you an hour and a half more than the iPhone X.
Dual-SIM capability
This is new for iPhone and Apple users but not for Samsung users. The iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max will have dual-sim capabilities, making you more eligible to be members of more carriers. With the new Giga-bit LTE feature of the iPhone XS, it will allow users to have better roaming capabilities than any iPhone ever has.
As of the moment, those are the only detailed factors Apple revealed with their newest phones. Other than better-augmented reality features and the exquisite design, we should wait for the release of these newest iPhones.
The iPhone XR
A lot of people were surprised that Apple has a third player in the game; more of a low-end type of the iPhone XS. The iPhone XR will have a 6.1″ Liquid Retina LCD display with 1.4 million pixels. Its screen resolution is at 1792 x 828 and has a 326 ppi.
The iPhone XR will come in a variety of colors: black, white, coral, red and blue. Unlike the iPhone XSs, this third player will have the same physical features but kind of different internal functionalities. It will also have just one 12MP wide-angle rear camera and according to Apple, this is the best single-camera phone they’ve ever made. Although that’s the case, it is the same 12 MP wide-angle camera that is present in the iPhone XS.
In terms of battery, the iPhone XR will give you an hour and a half more battery capacity than the iPhone 8 Plus.
Prices
The prices that Apple unveiled are the minimum. The iPhone XR will start at $749; the iPhone XS will start at $999; and the iPhone XS Max will start at $1099. Of course, the prices would still depend on how much internal storage capacity you want.

Pre-orders for the iPhone XR will start on October 19, 2018 and it’s going to be available for delivery or in the market by October 26, 2018. The iPhone XSs, however, pre-orders will start on September 14, 2018 and availability would be a week later, September 21, 2018.
