Comedian Tado Jimenez Killed in Bus Accident

Comedian Tado a.k.a. Arvin Jimenez was among the 14 people killed in a bus accident in Mountain Province on Friday. The Florida bus with plate number TXT 872 that was carrying 45 passengers fell off a ravine in Bontoc, Mountain Province. According to police report, the bus fell all the way down the 500-meter ravine.

Out of the 45 passengers, 14 were killed instantly, 24 were injured and 4 went missing.


Tado’s death was one of the trending topics in various social media sites on Friday.

He was on his way to Bontoc for his “40 Mountains Project” when the accident happened.

Tado’s fans who want to pay respect for the last time can proceed to the Paket Santiago Funeral Homes at V. Gomez corner E. Dela Paz, San Roque Marikina. His remains will be there from February 9 to 11 according to his talent manager Ogie Diaz.

Tado became popular when he co-hosted the reality comedy show “Strangebrew” on UNTV in 2001. He also appeared in several; ABS-CBN shows including “Bituin” in 2002, “Masayang Tanghali Bayan” and OK Fine Whatever.”

He also published several books like “Nag-iisa Lang Ako,” and “Bio-Eulogy ni Tado Jimenez.”
