He continued to say that their project would be deemed and considered as the “game-changer” for the country’s tourism; it’s expected to be able to accommodate 30 million tourists.

At tayo naman sa San Miguel, tuluy-tuloy ang ating investment to build infrastructure projects. In fact, nakuha na namin ‘yung approval or review ng DOJ [Department of Justice] doon sa Bulacan Airport. At ‘yung Bulacan Airport, tinitingnan lang namin ‘yung araw for the signing of the financial closure with the financer banks. So tuloy na rin ‘yan within the next two to three months, ‘yung Bulacan Airport, groundbreaking na rin.”

To Alleviate Traffic in the Metro

The main purpose of the construction of the famous New Manila International Airport is to decongest and alleviate the overcapacity experienced by the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

With the infamous traffic, many tourists and even locals find it hard and difficult to navigate around the area of NAIA.

However, with the New Manila International Airport in check, it will be capable of accommodating about 100 million to 200 million passengers on an annual basis.

Before the pandemic, and even more so now, we believe these projects will be key to making more Filipinos resilient, by providing jobs and boosting local economies, which in turn, will provide livelihood opportunities.”

Boosting the Country’s Economy

Ang continued to say that all of the projects in place would be for the benefit of the country. More and more jobs will be available to the Filipino people and that employment would see a sudden turnaround from the grim we’re experiencing now.
